There are times when it seems things are moving but you seem to be stuck at the same spot or not moving as fast as you would like to be. I had a moment to seat and reflect about this. I was feeling restless again; I seem to be constantly struggling and always tired. Although the environment is a contributing factor to this there was a role I was playing as well. My time management skills needed some improvement. As I researched on this I would like to share some of the lessons I have picked up along the way.

Time management, if done right has tons of huge benefits. Not only are you able to accomplish much more in your life. It can also affect the health of your life and relationships tremendously. Time management is the process of planning your time well in regards to your goals, specific tasks and work

Benefits of time management

1. It reduces stress.

Being able to manage your time can lower your stress levels drastically. It means you can relax as you enjoy your work.

When you are busy doing all the urgent tasks that come along and feel you like you are not t accomplishing all that you need to, or you are feeling overwhelmed, it creates stress. This stress can hurt your productivity, hurt your relationships, and hurt your health. disturbed work schedule can never provide best results

2. More productive and less friction issues

Everybody’s capacity is similar, only habits differentiate the results each person brings in. The people who score 100 out of 100 are also human not robots, the thing is that they follow their dreams.

Productivity is a challenge every one faces, as the process of productivity puts every person on their toes. It’s a race which has to be won by all not by any single. It is a great thing to adopt but also demands the person either has or builds the capacity to handle pressure.

3. You have free time to do more and relax

Relaxation in this era of rush is a blessing, everybody wants it, only few can grab it and it is highly misunderstood .No need to worry about missing events as workdays are scheduled, with reminders and alerts for urgent events. The blessed ones are those who do work on time and adopt a time table in their life to do day-to-day chaos.

A relaxed life gives motivation to human being. It puts them on the way of success. The recreational activities also give relationships and family life a boost. People feel more connected to their families; they have better relations with the people who are important to them. Relationships need plenty of time and love to boom.

4. Gain self confidence

Self confidence is a vital role in the human. The more self — confident a person is the better a life they have than a dependent person. Self confidence comes when you are able to take control of your work and are able to take better decisions on time.

5. You are able to take advantage of great opportunities that may arise

When you are accomplishing more and standing out above those around you, you are likely to get promotions faster.

If you are looking for a new job, and you have been effective in what you accomplished, it can help you get hired faster.

Not only does it get you promoted but it can help you earn more money without a salary

Brian Tracy in his book Eat That Frog! Tells the story of a lady who managed to doubled her salary. She discovered what her most important tasks were at work. She asks her boss, if she doubled her contribution by focusing on her most important tasks. Would he double her pay?

He said yes. She doubled her contribution. He doubled her pay.

6. Stand out

Many people waste a lot of time, are ineffective in how they go about their day. When you manage your time well, you get to accomplish much more. It makes you look good toward your bosses and potential companies that might want to hire you.
